Pickers Hut
A 1940 charming little dwelling known as Pickers Hut. Back then, it served as a haven for the dedicated women of the "Women's Land Army," who courageously stepped in to take over agricultural work while the men were away at war. As the seasons changed and the fruits ripened in nearby valleys, these female fruit-picking teams would travel the countryside, seeking out the bountiful harvest. During their journeys, they would find respite in shared huts like this one.
